Terms of use
How DirectPool’s website and mining services work, what miners are responsible for, and the risks of participating.
Using the service
These terms cover the DirectPool website and its Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash mining endpoints. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website or connect a miner.
Use only mining equipment and computing resources you are authorized to operate. You are responsible for complying with laws that apply to you, including any tax obligations.
Your mining address and equipment
No public mining account is required. Supply a valid address for the correct network and confirm that you control its wallet. An incorrect address or a wallet you cannot access can result in unrecoverable rewards. Confirmed blockchain transactions cannot be reversed by the pool.
You pay for your equipment, electricity, internet connection and any rented hashrate. Never provide DirectPool with your private keys or seed phrase.
Rewards, fees and payout rules
Bitcoin uses PPLNS accounting. Bitcoin Cash offers separate solo and shared PPLNS pools. Shared rewards depend on accepted work within the relevant accounting window, not simply on being connected or on hashrate displayed in your miner’s interface.
The Bitcoin fee is 1% and the Bitcoin Cash fee is 1%. Rewards are paid through blocks found by the pool, subject to the pool’s minimum payout, output limits, deferred accounting where applicable and the network’s acceptance of the block. A displayed balance or estimate is not a guaranteed immediate payment.
Read the Bitcoin payout details and the Bitcoin Cash shared-pool rules before mining. Rejected shares and work that does not meet the pool’s rules do not earn rewards.
Mining risk and availability
Mining is probabilistic. There is no guaranteed block, payout, return, uptime or hashrate. Hardware faults, network outages, software errors, changes in difficulty and blocks rejected by the network can affect results. Website charts, estimates and calculators are informational, not financial advice.
Services may be interrupted for maintenance or security reasons. Where applicable law allows, DirectPool does not accept liability for lost expected profits or indirect losses. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Fair use and optional features
Do not attack the service, overload endpoints, impersonate other miners, exploit vulnerabilities or submit abusive content. Connections or requests may be limited or blocked to protect the pool.
Arena items and scores do not change mining rewards. The boost draw follows the eligibility and selection rules on the boost page. Boost capacity can change and does not guarantee earnings.
Privacy, updates and contact
The privacy notice explains the data used to operate the service. Updates to the service are listed on the Changes page; review these terms when deciding whether to continue using DirectPool.
For questions or a dispute, contact the operator at @directpool_io on X with the relevant pool, time and public address. Do not send wallet secrets.
